What is your nationality/how do you identify?
African-American, Black, Brown.

What or who has been your biggest cultural influence?
I think as of recently my biggest cultural influence would be Colin Kapernick. Bringing attention to police brutality and racial divide.

What is your favorite cultural dish?
My favorite cultural food would be Collard Greens with hot sauce!! Got to have hot sauce!

What would you like people to know about your culture?
My culture is resilient! My culture is power!

From your lens, how can the larger community better support POC, like yourself?
The community could be supportive of POC just by having uncomfortable conversations that affect POC. Walk a mile in POC shoes! Lift up POC!

What is a fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I am the youngest of fifteen and out of the fifteen, seven of us were adopted, me being the last. In my mother’s lifetime she raised 85 children, some living in the home for a few months and some growing up there, such as myself. Within this family I was introduced to many races and thought nothing of division, but only thought of family.
